On the occasion of the celebration of the May Cruz Festival in Cartagena, which will take place on 5, 6 and 7 May, the Council of Festivities has opened, until April 28, the deadline for submission of applications By associations and non-profit groups, who are interested in participating in this traditional festival.
The instances must be presented in the General Register of the City Council, specifying the organizing entity and the project to be carried out, which must include the place, schedule and contents, as well as the municipal infrastructure necessary for its development.
The associations will present their requests and projects to be made for this reason, specifying the following data:

The schedule will always adapt to this strip:
Friday 5 May from 1:00 p.m. and until 1:00 p.m. on 6 May
Saturday 6th between 13:00:00 to 01:00 Sunday time May 7
Sunday 7th from 13:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. the music will be of an environmental type although it is recommended to avoid it.
Having seen the projects requested from this call will indicate those details regarding feasible content and those that may present problems.
In any case:
A) The organizers will develop activities specific to the theme of the party, excluding programs that put it another way, therefore will be detailed schedules and activities.
B) If it were intended to include in the events dispensing of beverages or food in each festive enclosure, the project will provide the identification of each and every one of the persons involved in it and their required legal training to carry it out (certifications of Installation, individual documentation for food handling, discharge in social security)
C) must also be provided, as in any event or celebration, liability insurance to cover all contingencies of civil liability and / or damage to the environment because of this activity.
D) It is proposed to hotel establishments, in normal operation of activity, to aesthetically adhere to this center of interest, with a tradition of Cartagena, by engalane or thematization of their premises, being able to share the above indicated schedule.
In order to do so, they shall exercise their activity in the terms that they have legally performed in accordance with the license they have, granted by the competent body, and at the location normally assigned on the terrace and in accordance with the schedules mentioned above or those The closing legislation contemplates them in their case.
If it is contemplated to assemble bars, it will be done in the space of the facade of the premises exclusively, without the possibility of expanding it.
In the streets of the center, given the limitation of space and predictable agglomeration, the bars that could potentially be installed will do so in one direction only (Honda, Aire, etc.)
Environmental music will have to be installed centrally and limited, common to establishments.
They will accompany the necessary documentation: project, program, certificates of technical inspections, insurance, etc.
