The 2017 South Hockey Online Cup will be played this weekend in Cartagena.
Seven teams, coming from Murcia, Andalusia and Valencia, will fight to win the championship, which will take place on 29 and 30 April at the Pabazo Municipal de Cabezo Beaza.
It is the fourth consecutive year that the South Cup in Cartagena is celebrated due to its excellent facilities and the collaboration that receives from the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena to carry out an event of this magnitude.
After the regular phase, the seven teams will play a two-day double elimination format based on their position in the final classification of the regular phase.
Sharks of Cartagena, Hockey Club Eagles, Roller Murcia, Sevilla Dragons, Fuengirola Lions, CH Sancti Petri of Chiclana and the champion of the regular phase, Devils of Mislata, will face in exhausting format, after which, only one will remain.
The competition has two events of special interest for the enthusiasts of this sport.
At 20:15, an All Stars game will be played, between two teams formed by the selection of the best players of league this season.
Due to the high technical level, this match promises to be a show.
The second event will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 30, when these same players will compete for the team in a competition of penalties.
The team Cartagena Tiburones enters the competition as sixth-ranked in the league and will face local rival Roller Murcia on Saturday, April 29 at 10:50 am.
The final is played on Sunday, April 30 at 13:30.
