The mayor, José López, and the older brothers of the four brotherhoods of Holy Week have gathered this afternoon in the Administrative Building of San Miguel with the representatives of a specialized company to evaluate a new management system for the chairs of the processions, Before the end of the current concession contract in Cartagena.
It is the so-called Procession Project that has presented to the City Council and the Cofradías a group of Malaga architects who have developed it with evident success in the Andalusian capital.
The project proposes the implementation of a new design and conception of the placement and operation of the chairs, allowing a better use of the public road and the resources they generate, also adapting to the needs of users and cofradías .
Both the mayor and the older brothers have been very interested and will study it carefully to apply new formulas of management in Cartagena, once the current contract has ended ..
The meeting was also attended by the Councilor for Finance and Contracting, Isabel Garcia.
