The Local Employment Bureau met this morning under the chairmanship of the Deputy Mayor and head of the Economic Strategy Area, Ana Belén Castejón.
Its members have applauded the initiative of the sectoral Training table to organize a conference on the Logistics Acting Area of ​​Cartagena (ZAL), as they consider that this infrastructure is fundamental for the development of the municipality.
The conference will have representatives from the ZAR of Algeciras, Asturias or Valencia.
The objective is to know their experience, as well as the influence they have exerted in the economic development of their environment.
In addition, the members of the Local Employment Board have asked the deputy mayor to give even more attention to the actions she has already taken to get the Mediterranean Corridor to Cartagena.
"There are infrastructures that are fundamental to the economic development of our municipality, such as the ZAL or the Mediterranean Corridor for which we are fighting and we will continue to do so until they become a reality," said the deputy mayor.
In this sense, several members have agreed on the desirability of setting up the Local Employment Board, since this body can coordinate all the actions carried out by the local government to curb unemployment, improve the employability of the unemployed, and Needs of the industries.
The members of the board have also asked for greater coordination and management of all training in the municipality, as has already been proposed by the Economic Strategy Area.
"We are working to coordinate all the entities and offer the training that our companies require because we have detected that it was a pending need," highlighted Castejón.
In this meeting also has been realized the result of the sectorial tables of Strategy and Training, which were held last week.
In this regard, special emphasis has been placed on the need to advance the strategic plans for Employment and Training for Industry to be developed.
A GUIDE TO GRANTS FOR NEW ENTREPRENEURS
The Economic Strategy Area, in collaboration with the Autonomous Community, will prepare a guide with all the aids and subsidies that can be requested by entrepreneurs who start a business in the municipality.
"The idea is that they have all the information in a single document and that they know what help they can choose when they decide to start a business. We want to make it as easy as possible for the procedures they have to carry out," said Castejón.
The aim is for this guide to contain practical and orderly information on all aid;
From which agencies grant them, where they can be applied for and what requirements must be met to obtain them.
The document will inform of the local aids as microcredits or the payca, among others, as well as of the regional ones.
The vice-mayor also took advantage of this meeting to inform the political groups, businessmen, unions and universities of the project to open a new hotel in Los Urrutias, which will generate more than sixty direct jobs when it is in operation, to which must be added the Indirect and those that will be produced during construction.
