The writer Mª Teresa Cervantes will present this Wednesday, April 19, at the Cultural Center Ramón Alonso Luzzy, his latest book of poetry, 'The night on the shoulder', edited by Torremozas.
The person in charge of presenting to the author will be the councilman of Culture, David Martínez, and in the act also the chronicler of Cartagena, Luis Miguel Perez Adán will intervene.
The event will also serve to inaugurate the activities of the second quarter of the program of the Department of Culture: 'Read Think Imagine'.
The work of Cervantes covers aspects of his life through the memory of sleepless nights.
"My adventure of life, the adventure of a time now nonexistent and that I have never been able to clarify" explains the author in the synopsis.
Mª Teresa Cervantes was born in Cartagena, professor of EGB and diploma in French Literature by the Sorbonne of Paris.
She has been a Reader of Spanish in French Middle Schools.
From 1971 to 1995 he has taught Spanish Language and Literature in Bonn (Germany) to children of Spanish emigrants.
In 1966 he created in Cartagena the magazine of poetry 'Títiro sings'.
He has published 27 books between poetry, essay and epistolary work.
His poems have been translated into Arabic.
