On Wednesday, April 12, the inauguration of the exhibition of the works selected in the contest "Drawings and Murals 'Our Field', organized by the Department of Education and Culture, the Association of Neighbors La Magdalena and the Board of Neighbors Of Molinos Marfagones.
The exhibition includes 55 works in total, including the 13 winners.
Original and creative works that will be exhibited until next April 28 in the first floor of the Ramón Alonso Luzzy Cultural Center.
Ana Belén Castejón, the Councilor for Culture, David Martínez, AVV La Magdalena, Ginesa García, the president of the Marfagones Molinos Neighbors Board, Antonio Bernal and the director of the UNED , M.ª Luisa Martínez.
The contest was presented around 800 works of students between 6 and 11 years of School Centers throughout Cartagena, with an undisputed protagonist: the windmill.
The contest was aimed at working both on creativity and the plastic arts, as well as on the knowledge of the rural environment, its ecosystem, biodiversity, and at the same time, encourage teamwork in the classroom, through the creation of collective murals .
Due to the quality of the works, during the selection process it was decided to increase the number of selected in three in each of the five categories.
