The first extraordinary concert of Holy Week marches, run by the Chamber Orchestra of Cartagena, brought together about 500 people who enjoyed the traditional sounds of Holy Week in Cartagena in a different format, in which metals Passed to the background and the protagonists were the ropes.
An event organized by the City of Cartagena, through the Culture and Heritage Area, attended by the mayor, José López, the Councilor for the Quality of Life Area, Francisco José Calderón, the Councilor for Culture, David Martinez, the councilor Of Social Services, Carmen Martín, the Councilor for Tourism, Obdulia Gómez, and the Councilor for Transparency, Mª José Soler.
The marches, performed in symphonic format, offered attendees some of the most well-known pieces that sound during the parades, such as 'Nuestro Padre Jesús', 'Mektub', 'San Juan' or 'In Memoriam', as well as touches Typical of the Cartagena processions as the celebrated and popular 'Perico Pelao'.

For this, from the area of ​​Culture and Patrimony we launch this cultural event through the concert of processional marches.
This initiative is born, as explained by the mayor, with the intention of continuing to spread Cartagena's Holy Week and its aspects that make it unique, in this case music.
