The UPCT Racing Team UPCT, Moto UPCT Motostudent and UPCT Solar Team, will present to the public the prototypes they will present and with which they will compete this year in international student trophies.
The event will take place in the Plaza Heroes of Cavite between 5 pm and 9 pm.
The mayor, José López will approach at 18:00 hours to know the details and the evolution of the teams, with which the City of Cartagena collaborates.
The Racing Team UPCT will present a single-seater electric vehicle that the students and engineering teachers that integrate the team have designed to compete in Formula Student and Formula Student Spain.
Two championships are a first step towards the Formula 1 racing teams, who are seeking in this type of competition their potential engineers.
Moto UPCT Motostudent will teach the curious to come this afternoon, its prototype of competition, similar to the machines that compete in the championships of Moto 3. It is a combustion vehicle that will compete in the Motostudent championship.
On the other hand the Solar Team UPCT will expose and present the solar prototype that the team wants to present in the Shell Eco-Marathon.
A competition of student teams at an international level that, unlike the previous two, seeks efficiency more than the power of vehicles.
The championship will take place in the UK this summer.
The members of the teams will explain to those who come to the event, and are interested, both the operation and the process of creating their competition prototypes.
