From the Program of Accompaniment of Social Services is going to proceed to the closing, next Thursday April 6 of the Group of Meeting and Personal Development "The Tree of Life."

In this group have participated 15 users of the Accompaniment Program of the Center of Social Services Cartagena II, and has been developed from February 9 to April 6.

The Social Services Accompaniment Program is a primary care service in which specialized social intervention is carried out with people in situations of high vulnerability or social exclusion.

The group work is a methodological instrument that facilitates the personal development and allows to create a space of encounter in which different activities are developed that motivate them;

Make them reflect and modify certain habits, behaviors and attitudes that hinder their personal evolution.

The group favors the feeling of belonging, so important in the process of social integration of people who are going through similar situations of social difficulty.

In the "Tree of Life" group, various socio-therapeutic activities have been developed through a series of dynamics in which the central axis has been the symbol of the tree, as a representation of the personal life history of each one participants.

Through the different parts of the tree, different moments of his personal history and his future life project have been working.

In the sessions a space of reception and meeting that has made possible the work of personal development has been made possible, and the interpersonal relationships and the companionship between the participants have been promoted with the objective of influencing situations of solitude.

To end the activity, on March 30 was a playful cultural outing consisting of a boat trip through the port of Cartagena and guided tour of the Christmas Fort.

On April 6 will be the last group session in which there will be an evaluative session with exchange of experiences between the participants, and the closure of the group, which will be done by the Councilor for Social Services.
