The work of conditioning and beautification of flower beds and gardens in the urban area is intensified.
During the last few days, the area of ​​Sustainable Development led by the mayor, José López, in coordinated action with the company in charge of the maintenance of parks and gardens in the municipality, has reinforced work that aims to provide greater prestige to certain Areas, in this case, likely to arouse a notable tourist interest.
Thus, both the Parks and Gardens department and the company dedicated to the care of this area, have recently acquired a significant number of seasonal flower plants for their implementation in various locations in the urban area, such as the Plaza de La Merced, 'El Lago', or the Cornices Park, near the Roman Theater.
These are usual replacement jobs throughout the year, up to three times.
On this occasion, they have been coinciding with the celebration of the Holy Week, a time for which the parks and gardens of Cartagena will look with greater visibility if it fits.
