The Service of Attention to Homeless People and Transients of the City Council of Cartagena, in coordination with CEA-La Huertecica, ACCEM, CARITAS, Hospitality of Santa Teresa and Cruz Roja, organized last Friday March 31 an excursion to Sierra Espuña where 45 people and seven technicians from the different entities participated.
This activity aims to provide participants with a space different from the usual in contact with nature, promoting group living together with the enjoyment of the experience through the development of a series of recreational and recreational activities such as, for example , The guided visit to the Center of Visitors and Management 'Ricardo Codorniz' and the hiker route by the Fuente del Hilo that enjoyed the people who joined this initiative.
It is the first time that this activity has been organized from this municipal service and the social entities, which was positively valued by all participants.
It is also in this line of intervention with the groups in exclusion where actions are being developed aimed at their promotion, which is one of the priority objectives of the area of ​​Social Services.
