The vice-rector of Research, Beatriz Miguel, and the general director of Simplification of Business Activity and Digital Economy, Francisco Abril, today visited the facilities where there are 14 graduates of Vocational Training who have been incorporated for a year to the workforce Of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) thanks to a program of the CARM.
The Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment has provided public funding to finance the recruitment of graduates in Higher Education Vocational Training by universities, public and private R & D agencies and innovative companies for one year and in internships Of the Region of Murcia.
The objective is to favor the labor insertion of these graduates by specializing their training in the areas with the greatest development potential in the Region through their participation in leading projects.
This call has the cofinancing of the Operational Program ESF (European Social Fund) 2014-2020 of the Region of Murcia.
"It is very positive to bring FP technicians to the field of research.
It opens the curiosity to continue forming them in the university ", values ​​the investigator Ángel Molina, who will have under his responsibility to two of the contracted ones in projects of energy efficiency and new solutions of optimization and monitoring of the consumption.
"They assume tasks that can perfectly perform and give us a more practical vision," he adds.
"It's a great idea that I hope will continue," says Isidro Ibarra, director of SAIT, where two other technicians are destined.
During the tour, Beatriz Miguel and Francisco Abril visited the Insecticide Resistance Unit, the Industrial Instrumentation and Scientific Calculation Service and the Technological Instrumentation Service, located in the R + D + i building, in the Muralla Campus Sea.
