The Local Police of Cartagena will take care of road safety during all the sporting events that have been organized in the port city on the occasion of the celebration of the VIII Route of the Strengths, reason why it is recommended to the drivers that they foresee their displacements to avoid So traffic retention during these days.
Thus, from the Local Police it is recommended to the drivers to avoid to circulate by the maritime road, in particular by the Paseo Alfonso XII, the Real street and the Cuesta of the Batel, since from this Friday, with the collection of ridges and The child test, there will be street cuts that will affect the circulation of vehicles and will continue until Saturday with the completion of the general test.
In addition, the municipal transport company ALSA will collaborate in the VIII Route of the Strengths with two special itineraries.
Thus, route 1 will go from the car park next to Erosky to the Marine Infantry School and route 2 will leave from the Marine Infantry School, and continue along Erosky, Peroniño Street, Pío XII, Real, Alfonso XII, Cuesta Batel, Bastarreche, Capitanes Ripoll, Paseo Alfonso XIII, Alameda San Anton, Escudo, Sebastian Feringan to finish in the School of Marine Infantry.
As for the stopping points of these itineraries, they will be the usual stops for public transport, although inside the Marine Infantry School, the stop will be made at the roundabout behind the entrance control.

EVENTS THROUGH THE VIII ROUTE OF STRENGTHS
On the occasion of the celebration of the Route of Strengths, this Friday, April 31, at 10.00 hours, opens the delivery of riders, which will remain open until 10 pm.
In the afternoon, at 18.00 hours, will open the drawer of the children's test and, at 18:30, will start the race.
At the end of the same, there will be delivery of prizes and solemn reduction of the national flag at sunset.
Already on Saturday, the delivery of bibs will continue at 6.30 am and at 7.00 am, the drawers for the participants will be opened.
At 7.50 am there will be a speech by various authorities and, just ten minutes later, solemnly hoisted flag.
After the hoisting, around 08.05 hours, there will be exit of the general test.
At 10:00 a.m., the juvenile event will be held, after the opening of the participants' box half an hour earlier.
At 13.00 hours will begin the award ceremony of this event and, at 20.05 hours, will be the closing of the goal of the general test, to celebrate the trophy delivery of the general test at 20.15 hours.
