This Sunday, April 2, starting at 8.30 pm, in the Basilica of Charity, the choir Diatessaron will give a concert of sacred music, organized by the Department of Culture of the City of Cartagena.
In the program "Ver sacrvm" (sacred spring) the choir Diatessaron offers a varied sample of musical styles in the genre a cappella (centuries XVI-XXI), as well as sacred texts of diverse consideration (liturgical and non-liturgical), from psalms Of King David to prayers as well known as the 'Hail Mary'.
The concert will be attended by the Councilor for Culture, David Martinez.
The entrance to the same is free until completing capacity.

Martínez has highlighted the quality of the music.
"The Choir Diatessaron is composed of 30 voices, most of them from different professional fields of music and from different cities, from Barcelona to Cartagena.
Its members come together to work repertoires that, due to their beauty and difficulty, are rarely heard in the usual musical stages, and elaborate their concerts under the principle of interpretive and vocal quality, "he informed.
The choir Diatessaron, whose director is Tomeu Quetgles Roca, has been awarded twice with the First Prize of the Coral Competition of Sacred Villa Villa of Redován in the years 2014 and 2016, in addition it has been awarded also in the Choral Contest of Ejea de los Caballeros , In the Contest of Nanas and Villancicos Villa de Rojales and in the Contest Coral Fira de Tots Sants de Cocentaina
