The students of the Sixth Elementary School of San Francisco Javier had Wednesday the opportunity to meet and practice various athletic modalities in their own educational center, with officials of the Athletic Club Elcano, in an activity organized by the ADE Program of the Council of Sports .
The activity was developed in two parts, the first contact was in the classroom, where the students have listened carefully to Alfredo Castilla and Tońi López, top managers and also coaches in CA Elcano.
In the classroom, videos have been projected on elite athletics and another one titled 'Playing athletics', an introduction format for athletics for children.
Questions have also been asked by the students, who are interested in topics such as preparation, food or athletics technical issues.
In the second part, the college students have accessed the sports court to perform different tests adapted for athletics such as speed, jumps, pitches and relay race.
All the students have had the opportunity to participate and practice athletics in a great morning session specially designed for them.
Finally, there was a photo session with the protagonists to remember and record the day.
The ADE program is organized by the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena and the Official College of Graduates in Physical Education and Sport of the Autonomous Community.
