Nine newly qualified students from the training courses run by the Local Development and Employment Agency (ADLE) of the Cartagena City Council will depart this Sunday, March 26, to the Portuguese city of Braga, where they will carry out internships within the Erasmus + mobility program.
Ana Belén Castejón, the Vice Mayor and President of the ADLE, welcomed these young people to the Consistorial Palace this Friday, March 24, to wish them the best "in this unique experience for them".
Thus, the Erasmus + program, aimed at newly graduated students of the projects managed by the ADLE, aims to carry out internships in the sector of the degree obtained during the training.
On this occasion, the participants are all newly qualified in the hospitality industry, in the restaurant, bar and kitchen specialties, which have obtained their corresponding Certificate of Professionalism.
The project has a grant of 29,975.00 euros, and covers the travel grant, accommodation, language preparation course, tutoring practices and pocket money.
The duration of the mobility is two months.
In this way, Erasmus + scholarship holders have completed one of the pre-departure language preparation courses and, once in the host country, they will receive the language preparation provided by the tutoring partner in Braga, 'Intercultural Friends of Mobility Association'.
Students will carry out their internships in one of the companies associated with the program, such as the 'Social and Cultural Center of Santo Adrião', 'Centro Novais e Sousa' and 'Casa do Professor - Restaurat'.
His return is scheduled for next May 26.
