The 20th Contest of young performers 'Entre Cuerdas y Metales' began its qualifying phase on Thursday, March 23, with the woodwind modality, which has already selected the 16 finalists who will compete for the first place in this contest. Next April 18.
Thus, after the performances, which took place in three countries from 3 pm in the Auditorium of the Professional Conservatory of Music in Cartagena, the jury chose the finalists, such as the oboists Maitane Pardo, of the Conservatory of Murcia;
Ángela Ros, from Cartagena;
Miriam Caballero, of Lorca;
Beatriz Jiménez, of Cieza;
And David Murcia, of the Conservatory of Murcia;
The saxophonists María del Carmen Robles, de Lorca;
Patricio Belda, from Murcia;
And Adrián José Carreto, of Cartagena.
In addition, the flutists Ana Ros, from Cartagena;
Catalina Serrano, from Caravaca;
María Dolores Valverde, from Caravaca;
And Angela Abraham, of Cartagena;
The clarinetists Miguel Albaladejo, María Isabel Conesa and Alexandra Imbernón, of the Conservatory of Cartagena;
And Miguel Carrillo, from the Conservatory of Murcia, have also been ranked for the final on 18 April.
The jury was chaired by Francisco José Valero Castells, with the head of the program in the Department of Youth, María José Martínez, as secretary, and with the vowels María Albaladejo, Ginés Aznar, Pablo Castaño and Juan Francisco Cayuelas.
