The Emergency Services have mobilized Monday to rescue a wounded hiker in the Cerro de San Ginés in the municipality of Cartagena.
The injured suffered a fall in which fractured tibia and fibula as he walked the area.
112 received notice at 10:42, indicating that a person had suffered an accident while he was with two other companions on a hill in front of the Monastery of San Ginés de la Jara.
A number of firefighters from the Fire Extinguishing Service, Salvage and Civil Protection of Cartagena, Civil Guard, Local Police and personnel of 061 moved to the place.
After locating the injured, they found that he had an open fracture of tibia and peruvian.
The fracture was stabilized and transferred to a Mobile Emergency Unit of the Murcian Health Service, where he was treated.
