The Real Club de Regatas de Cartagena (RCRC) in collaboration with the Rowing Federation of the Region of Murcia (FRRM) organizes next week, 18 and 19 March, a Rowing Auxiliary course.
The activity is framed within the agreement signed by the two institutions to promote rowing in the Region of Murcia.
The course, which has the collaboration of the City of Cartagena, will be taught at the headquarters of the RCRC and consists of 15 hours of training, Saturday morning in the afternoon and Sunday morning only tomorrow.
Those interested can register until next Thursday, March 16th at 9:00 pm by email federemomurcia@gmail.com.
The price of the course is 40 euros, and includes the annual federative license as a technician.
In addition to this initiative, which will offer more courses throughout the year, another of the points of the agreement is the assignment of fixed bank vessels by the FRRM.
This action is intended to create a new pool of fixed-seat crews and launch a regional league of fixed bank rowing between crews, schools, and collectives.
The competition would start in September and have several tests (Puerto de cartagena and Mar Menor).
In addition the FRRM intends to join the league SUMA that carries out the Valencian Federation and to make tests of said regattas in Cartagena and in the Mar Menor for the 2018.
In addition the FRRM has requested the Spanish championship of Yolas, whose headquarters would be the Club Nautico Los Nietos, privileged place for this type of boats.
Within the promotion programs the Nautical Club the Grandchildren and the FRRM want to recover the history and have recovered a traditional trawler that from April will be sailing with excursions and activities by the Mar Menor, this shipment will have its soothes in the Nautical Club The Grandchildren
