The Councilor for Sports, Ricardo Segado, and the director of the Cartagena Speed ​​Circuit, Juan José Ríos, held a meeting this morning with CARM's Director General of Transport, Ports and Coasts, Salvador García, to explain the needs of Improvement in this sports facility with the aim of continuing to increase its services and services.
The mayor explained during the meeting "the urgent needs in terms of infrastructure required by the Circuit, especially access and resurfacing of the track."
For Segado, this sports facility "dynamizes our Region and enriches the tourism of Cartagena and the Region in a remarkable way, and makes southeast Spanish a benchmark at the automotive level."
SPEED OF THE TOWN TO THE SPEED CIRCUIT
The City Council of Cartagena collaborates actively with the Circuit of Speed, helping that all the events and competitions that organizes serve to continue increasing the high sport and tourist level with which counts the municipality.
In this sense, Ricardo Segado explained that "the appointment with CARM, requested with the Minister of Development, has finally been referred to the director general who declares himself incompetent on the matter."
In this way, the mayor has shown his confidence that "he endorses this urgent need and derive this meeting in positive results for the Circuit and, therefore, for the Region of Cartagena."
For his part, Juan José Ríos thanked the constant municipal collaboration, and especially the mayor and councilor of Sports, "to put value in the Speed ​​Circuit as a prominent element in the arrival of tourists to the city and in the organization of Important sporting events on the national and international scene ".
