The Councilor for the Quality of Life Area of ​​the City of Cartagena, Francisco Calderón, held a meeting this Monday, March 6, with the dean of the Official College of Physiotherapists of the Region, Santiago Peris Sánchez, in a meeting in which Peris Has exposed the will of the entity that presides to advance in different ways of collaboration to contribute in the different activities of the City.
During the meeting, which took place in the administrative building of San Miguel, Peris has shown his commitment to Calderón to send him a report on activities likely to be carried out by the College, in order to know the different areas in which the group may intervene.
In this way, once the information is received, the person responsible for Quality of Life will determine among the options proposed "those that can fit in the day to day of the different councils."
One of the possibilities would be the development of training talks aimed at certain groups, such as seniors or neighborhood associations, aimed at raising awareness of the importance of promoting healthy habits and exercise.
Thus, it is understood as a decisive option to alleviate certain pathologies or chronic problems, but also as a preventive method that contributes to an evident improvement in the quality of life.
The purpose of the Official Association of Physiotherapists in the Region is to defend and represent the professional rights of its members, and to ensure the quality of the treatment received by the public by the professional associations.
