At 00.00 hours on Sunday closed the vote on the participatory budgets by the Cartagena, at least online voting, as the polls closed on Friday, reaching the end of the figure of 4,336 people who have exercised their right To choose among the 93 infrastructure improvement projects submitted by the citizens themselves.
The majority of the voters, 3,759, did it face-to-face, and the rest, 576, on line, highlighting the number 13, which included the populations of La Palma, Barriada Hispanoamérica, Sana Ana pueblo and Barriada San Cristobal, as the Which received the most votes, 722 in all.
In number of votes are followed, by far, number 8 (La Aljorra and San Antón), with 471 ballots, and number 16, which was the one located in the administrative building, with 401 votes.
The result will be known this Wednesday, March 8, after the opening of ballot boxes and counting of votes that will take place from 10.00 hours, in a public event to be held in the meeting room located on the first floor of the building Administrative office of San Miguel Street.
It should be remembered that the item destined to investments proposed and voted directly by the citizens ascends to 1,569,387 euros, emphasizing actions in matter of recovery of the patrimony;
lighting;
sports facilities;
Parkland;
Pedestrian access;
Track arrangements;
Reordering of traffic;
public places;
Among other initiatives.
STUDENTS OF PROLAM VOTE PARTICIPATORY BUDGETS
The edil of Education, David Martinez, received on Friday the 18 students of Basic FP of the PROLAM Day Center, who went to exercise their right to vote in the Participatory Budgets of Cartagena, in the Office of Citizen Care located in the building San Miguel.
Eleven of these students have worked in class on the different proposals selected and each one of them has decided how he can improve his neighborhood and his city.
