During the meeting, which took place in the administrative building of San Miguel, representatives of AYUME presented the association to the first mayor of Cartagena as well as the new Board of Directors, which has recently been renewed with the aim of "promoting and strengthening The association in Cartagena ".
Thus, Lopez has known the aims of this association that has been working in the port city for 20 years, which is based on support for women during pregnancy, more specifically, on women who go through an unwanted pregnancy, and in "To spread the culture of life" through an external aid offered in different ways, explained the president.
In addition, Perez has transmitted to the mayor some of the activities that AYUME projects to fulfill its objectives in the accompaniment, counseling and direct assistance of the pregnant woman, through meetings and publicity campaigns, among other proposals.
This Thursday, March 2, the association has organized a meeting in the Casino of Cartagena and is designing an information campaign in schools to publicize the association and its work the city.
