The Councilor for Decentralization, Juan Pedro Torralba, visited on Monday morning the possible locations for the spas to be installed on the beaches of Los Urrutias, Punta Brava and Estrella de Mar.
Torralba was accompanied by technicians from the Coastal Demarcation, who will analyze the suitability of each location, as well as neighborhood representatives of the three zones in which these actions will be carried out.
The mayor recalled that this project will have an imperceptible impact on the salt lagoon, while allowing access to the beaches in a more comfortable.
"The objective we pursue with this measure is to prepare the beaches of our coast for the summer, causing the least possible harm to the Mar Menor.
From the Department of Decentralization we want to make sure that both Cartagena and visitors can enjoy our beaches and guarantee them a good swim, "said Torralba.
The Councilor for Decentralization will return to visit on Wednesday these beaches, along with Costas and technicians of the Autonomous Community.
"We hope to start the definitive commitment of the demarcation to finance these new infrastructures," explained Torralba.
