On Friday afternoon the carnival was celebrated, a celebration in which the elderly enjoyed in harmony the good humor so characteristic of these dates as well as costumes, dances and choreography.
In addition, the mayor, José López, the deputy mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, the Councilor of Festejos, Juan Pedro Torralba, and the delegate of Social Services, Carmen Martín, joined the celebration and participated in the planned activities.
A large number of older people gathered in the party room 'The Golden Lady' to enjoy a fun-filled day in which the various groups disguised themselves and danced dressed in their custom robes.
Laughter, music and above all good humor were present at all times in an afternoon that took the carnival party to the collective of the elderly in the port city.
