More than 2,000 children from schools in Cartagena participate this Friday, February 24, in the parade of the School Carnival organized by the Department of Education in collaboration with the Carnival Federation of Cartagena.

For her part, the president of the Federation of Carnival has agreed with the mayor of Education to describe as "successful" this parade with the participation of these 2,000 schoolchildren, while emphasizing that "you have to pamper them" since "Are the quarry of the Carnival".
In addition, he recalled that this Friday is scheduled the Carnaval de los mayores, in the Golden Lady, and the final of the contest of Chirigotas, in which will compete the five formations that have passed the semifinals phase, while tomorrow Saturday, 25 Of February, more than 5,000 people will participate in the Great Carnival Parade 2017.
