The Councilor for Decentralization, Juan Pedro Torralba, held a meeting this morning with the head of the Demarcation of Coasts, Andrés Martínez, in which he has demanded the installation of five spas on different beaches in the Mar Menor.
Specifically, the request includes two in Los Urrutias, two in Punta Brava and one in the urbanization Estrella de Mar. Its installation aims to improve the conditions of the bath, since these are wooden walkways that leave the beach front And flow directly into the sea.
Torralba has also requested the construction of a promenade in Los Urrutias, as well as the conditioning that already exists in Los Nietos.
In this regard, the councilor and deputy mayor, Ana Belén Castejón, have announced that they have already contacted the deputies and senators with the aim of promoting an initiative, both in the Congress and the Senate, to urge the Government of Spain To develop a comprehensive plan that includes both seawalks.
The mayor stressed the good predisposition of both the Demarcation of Coasts and the staff of the Autonomous Community.
