Last Friday, agents of the Local Police of Cartagena, rescued an abandoned mare that wandered alone by the population of Galifa.

The agents of the Quality of Life Unit, in charge of the protection of fauna and the environment, came to the area with a judicial order from the Court of Instruction No. 3 of Cartagena, which ordered that the horse be moved to Veterinarian recognition, and later to an animal guard.

From Local Police of Cartagena, it is remembered that the abandonment of any type of animal, is typified in the penal code and can impose fine and the disqualification of the exercise of the profession when the animal had relation with the same one.
