The councilor of the Area of ​​Transparency and Good Governance, Participation, Decentralization and Celebrations, Juan Pedro Torralba, will chair on Thursday, February 16, the meeting of the Municipal Commission for Citizenship, where, in addition to the Councilor for the Area of ​​Finance and Interior, Human Resources, Citizen Security and Public Road, Francisco Aznar;
The Delegate Councilor for Finance, Contracting and Heritage, Isabel García;
And the Delegate of Portal and Office of Transparency, María José Soler, integrate representatives of the municipal groups of the City of Cartagena as
Diego Ortega, for the Popular Party;
Manuel Padín, for Citizens and Pilar Marcos, for Cartagena Sí Se Puede, in addition to the president of the Federation of Neighborhood Associations of Cartagena and Fernando Garrido District, Cristina Roca.
The purpose of this meeting is to address the creation of new municipal neighborhood councils, specifically in the southern area of ​​the Mar Menor.
The meeting will be held at 12 noon on the first floor of the Administrative Building of San Miguel.
The commission is a consultative body contemplated in the current Regulation of Citizen Participation, which channels the participation of neighbors and citizen entities, in the areas of municipal action.
Its functions are basically to propose activities to gather public opinion on matters of general interest;
To inform about the ideal places for the installation of decentralized organs, as is the case of the Neighborhood Boards;
Propose the guidelines of the form of distribution of the municipal subsidies and all those that the full Municipal orders him.
