That is why Gómez has indicated that the Consistory has turned from the first moment with this initiative, and has encouraged all participants "to continue working and claiming the necessary improvements and claiming all the means they need to achieve the Real equality of opportunity ".
DIFFICULT EQUALITY TO ACHIEVE IN FAVOR OF LEGAL ADVANCES
The president of Agua y Tierra, an association for the integral development of women in rural areas, wanted to highlight two issues that will be discussed in this day.
On the one hand, the shared ownership of holdings.
An aspect regulated in Law 35/2011, which was created in order to change the fact that, in the field of family farming in the rural environment, many women share agricultural tasks with men, but in the In most cases, only man is the holder of the agricultural holding.
An Act that nevertheless has had little impact in the Region of Murcia, since, since it came into force, only one woman has accepted its regime, Diaz recalled.
On the other hand will address the role of women working in the rural area with reference to the new 'Strategic Plan for Equality of the Region of Murcia'.
An important issue, given that the difficulties women face in the rural world are much greater than those found in urban areas, as the councilor stressed.
Something that Dolores Diaz has exemplified with the stereotypes that still exist in this field, such as questioning the woman, not the man, for the hard work that is done in the field, or doubting that they actually work in this field simply by Their dress or to be more arranged in social events
