Cartagena sailor Marina León Forca of the Real Club de Regatas de Cartagena (RCRC) was the winner of the VIII City of Cartagena Trophy Optimist-Grand Trophy Spar after the four events played between Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 February in The Bay of Cartagena.
The 14-year-old managed to keep the first position she already had after the first day of competition on Sunday.
She was accompanied on the podium by the sailors of the Valencian Community, Román Bono, of the Real Club de Regatas de Alicante, and Javier Clement, of the Club Náutico Cartagena.
In the competition participated more than one hundred sailors of sports clubs of Baleares, Andalusia, Comunitat Valenciana, Extremadura and Region of Murcia;
And from outside our borders of Norway and Belgium.

The awards ceremony, held in the halls of the RCRC, was attended by the mayor of Cartagena, José López, accompanied by the Councilor for Sports, Ricardo Segado;
The president of the RCRC, José García-Bravo, the president of the Sailing Federation of the Region of Murcia, Arturo García, the general director of the Upper-Spar Group, Luis Navarro and the regional secretary of AECIO, Enrique Vives.
