The director general of Roads maintains a meeting with the mayor of Cartagena and the president of the municipal board to know the needs of the deputation
The Ministry of Development and Infrastructures will work on projects to improve road safety on the roads of the cartagenera council of La Aparecida.
This was communicated this morning the General Director of Highways, Jose Antonio Fernandez Lladó, the mayor of Cartagena, Jose López, and the president of the neighborhood junta of La Aparecida, Juan Manuel Ayaso, with whom he held a meeting.
Specifically, it will study the project to improve the intersection of RM-F35 (Cartagena-La Aparecida) with RM-F37 (Santa Ana-Roche), next to the roundabout of the Ermita del Pasico, where works will be carried out to channel The ditches, continuing with the work that began the Ministry last year, and will improve the firm.
Likewise, asphalting works will be carried out in a stretch of 500 meters of the road RM-F39 (Cartagena-Los Camachos), from the roundabout of access to the Los Camachos industrial estate to Los Beatos.
Fernández Lladó explained that "this project gives continuity to the reinforcement works that were carried out last year in a stretch of 300 meters, from Cartagena to the industrial estate."
Equally, it will be studied to increase the road safety in the road RM-F54, that connects the national N-332 (Cartagena-San Pedro of the Pinatar) with Los Belones, at the height of Carmolí.
In particular, a dangerous crossing would be eliminated and replaced by a roundabout, which would allow all the turns and expedite the traffic in the area.
Authorization of actions
In addition, the municipal board proposed installing a traffic light, with a pedestrian button, at the intersection of the RM-F40 (Los Camachos-La Unión) road with the RM-F35 (Cartagena-La Aparecida).
An action that Fomento plans to authorize and which will run the municipal council of La Aparecida.
An indicative exit sign will also be placed on the AP7 at the same intersection, which will finance the Ministry.
Likewise, Fomento plans to authorize the installation of two new pedestrian crossings in the urban area of ​​Punta Brava and a bus stop on the RM-F35 (Cartagena-San Javier) road at Punta Brava.
These actions will be executed by the neighbors board.
