"When I was offered to take this project to this project, I did not think twice because I really believe it is possible," he said.
"I think you should encourage critical thinking because there are manipulations that you are not aware of," he added, concluding that "the Internet should be the means, not the end."
David Martínez commented that he faces the beginning of this initiative "with great enthusiasm", since he believes that "it is the best way to reach young people" and train them in the field of equality and against gender violence.
"We have to talk to them on the channel they handle," he said.
The mayor explained that the idea is to "create a channel of 'YouTube' so that it is the same young people who sell that message of equality through mobiles and social networks."
With this, what is intended is "that there are young people involved who fight for that equality and send a message of equality. That young people have a critical thinking and that they know how to be sympathetic to these issues," he said in reference to the collective LGTB, the struggle Against bullying, etc.
In addition he has revealed that he will have a slogan in Esperanto that alludes to this question.
