In order to continue to make visitors enjoy the heritage of the city, Cartagena Puerto de Culturas returns this season with a new edition of 'Museums and Fun', a program of activities for the whole family, where you can enjoy during the Weekends in February and March of fun workshops, guided visits and guided tours, where you can learn the history of the city and learn about the heritage of the millenary city of Cartagena.
"Museums and Fun" brings together activities that relate and contextualize historical and emblematic places of the city with games to search, explore, discover and learn. With this program we seek to bring our heritage to children and adults in a fun and fun, Culture in all its facets ", emphasizes the deputy mayor and president of Cartagena Port of Cultures, Ana Belén Castejón.
For this, different activities have been created for all audiences, where the adventure will be on this occasion the children's workshop "Detectives of the past" in the Forum Quarter, a theatrical visit entitled "Asterix and the Roman madmen" in the Punic Wall and the Guided tour "Citizens of an Empire" where you can visit the Museum of the Roman Theater, the Forum Quarter and the House of Fortune.
The aim of these activities, aimed at children and adults, is to make them protagonists of history, where contact with the museum becomes an enriching experience, learning and personal enjoyment.
NEW ACTIVITIES
Detectives of the past.
Find hidden mosaics, decipher ancient names, solve mathematical puzzles, or find out how many colored stars are hiding in the Forum Quarter are some of the secrets that little detectives of the past will have to discover in this fun gymkhana where through games Of deduction, relationship and memory, children will learn about ancient baths, temples, or what recipes were preferred by the Romans.
If they succeed in overcoming all the tests, the children will get their license to prove them as great detectives of the past in the Barrio del Foro Romano.

Asterix and the Roman insane.
Asterix, the small Gallic warrior, has arrived at the Punic Wall on his journey to Hispania, in search of his magic potion that the Carthaginians possessed in the sacred forest.
He needs little helpers to unlock the secret of how the Roman lunatics conquered Carthago Nova, by land and sea.
To do this, the children will have to decipher the code of Cesar, become turtle shields, find out where Hannibal is hiding and finally play a crazy game in a trivial giant that will give us the answer of the magic potion of super powers.

Citizens of an Empire.
In this route we will move to the era of the Emperor Augustus, visiting the great Theater, walking along Roman roads of 2000 years ago, and knowing how they enjoyed the Termas and the luxurious banquets dedicated to the gods.
We will meet one day a citizen of Rome, upon entering the House of Fortune, a Roman home richly decorated with splendid paintings and mosaics.
During the visits we will discover the splendor that reached the Roman citizens in Carthago Nova.
