This Sunday, the second stage of the XXVII Social Trofeo Interclub Campo de Cartagena and Mar Menor was celebrated, with an outing and arrival in Tentegorra, 80 kilometers of course and more than 600 meters of unevenness, which won José Manuel Cayuela Juan Zurano team.
The Councilor for Sports of the City of Cartagena, Ricardo Segado, was in charge of cutting the tape of this event with which the Municipal Consistory collaborates.
A second stage tougher than the first, as much by the profile, two ports of second and third category, as by the wind, which was an extra effort for cyclists.
In the end Jose Manuel Cayuela made this stage to the sprint, also put first in the classification of the mountain and climbed to the fourth position in the general classification.
Second came Juan Manuel Camacho, also from the Juan Zurano team, and the third step of the podium was for José David Gómez, from the Mar Menor-San Javier cycling club.
After this race Francisco Fernandez is in first place in the overall standings, the previous leader, Oscar Fabregat, is second to 36 seconds and 37 seconds Blas Fernandez is placed third.
As for the classification by team, the Cycling Club Juan Zurano happens to be first after the good second stage of its members.
The next appointment will be next Sunday, February 12 in Torre Pacheco.
