Elementary school students from Beethoven have had a very complete day of athletics on Friday through the ADE Program of the Department of Sports of the City of Cartagena.
The Elcano Athletics Club, a reference club in grassroots athletics, with Alfredo Castilla (president and coach), Tońi López (vice president and coach) and Alberto Ferrer (coach and former athlete) have been in charge of bringing athletics closer to the Schoolchildren.
The day began in the audiovisual room of the school, where the students have had a meeting with the trainers and videos have been projected on the activity "Playing athletics" an introduction format for athletics for children.
There has also been an opportunity to ask questions on the part of the students to know aspects related to this sport.
The students of Beethoven have also made and presented murals on athletics, which have greatly pleased those responsible for the CA Elcano.
In the second part, the students have practiced in the sports court adapted tests for the approach to the athletics, like speed, jumps and launches.
All the students have had the opportunity to participate and practice athletics, with the particularity of having done it in their school.
The ADE program, which is in its tenth edition, is organized by the Department of Sports of Cartagena and has the collaboration of the Official College of Graduates in Physical Education and Sport of the Region
