The La Palma Comedy Contest kicks off this Sunday, February 5, its nineteenth edition, to which have been presented a total of 48 theater companies from all over Spain.

And Orozú Theater ', Cadiz.

Thus, the performances of these works will take place on 17, 18 and 19 February, respectively.
The event will be completed with the premiere of the play 'The blackout', which will be carried out by Agora Teatro, on Saturday, February 25, during the closing ceremony and awards ceremony of the contest, as well as other activities scheduled as the presentation of the Contest, which will take place this Sunday and where will participate the actor and monologueist Javi Chou with his monologue 'The future is here';
And the children's play 'El libro mágico de los sueños', which will be directed by José Antonio Ortas.
Finally, Martinez has announced the work of the City of Cartagena around the design of a theater circuit so that this artistic style "reaches every corner of our municipality."
