The City Council of Cartagena, through the Department of Social Services and Social Mediation, is in charge of providing information and advice to those affected by land clauses, following the ruling issued by the European Court of Justice on 21 December, In which it declares the nullity thereof, including also criteria of retroactivity.
From the Housing Assistance and Brokering service, which was created last October, 2011 in the Department, with the arrival of the new Government team, work is being done to provide coverage and information to people who are affected by this situation.
It is a free information service and accompaniment to address the situation of people, especially those who might be at risk of social exclusion, applying Law 10/2016 on protection of housing rights.
