The School Board of the Sacred Heart of Jesus of Cartagena has celebrated this Monday, January 30, the School Day of Nonviolence and Peace.
To the day, that has been developed in the Place of Jaime Bosch, in front of the Church of San Diego, has been added the delegated councilman of Education and Equality, David Martinez.
The School Day of Nonviolence and Peace is celebrated every year since the 1960s and coincides with the anniversary of the murder of Mahatma Gandhi, who was a great promoter of pacifism and nonviolent resistance.

David Martínez, who at the beginning of this commemoration addressed the children gathered there, explained in a very didactic way to the students the meaning of this date and wanted to remember "the smallest and smallest in the house That the important thing is that in the day to day they also work to achieve that peace, that begins from the class, that they do not fight with the companions and companions, that they begin to respect from very young.
Likewise, the mayor of Education and Equality, added that world peace "is an objective that has to work from all institutions, but also from all corners to reach it."
