Firefighters from the Fire Extinguishing and Rescue Services of Cartagena City Council managed to locate and rescue three Dutch cyclists who had been lost Saturday afternoon in the vicinity of Boletes in Cabo Tiñoso.
About five o'clock in the afternoon the warning was received from the three athletes who had become disoriented, six firemen were quickly transferred to the scene in two light vehicles to carry out the search and rescue tasks.
Only two hours later, after entering the area on the GR-92 path and well into the night, they found the cyclists in good health in Cala Aguilar, waiting to be rescued.
Both they and some of the members of the rescue group, were evacuated by sea with the help of a pneumatic boat of the service of Firemen of Cartagena
