The Deputy Mayor and Councilor of the Economic Strategy Area, Ana Belén Castejón, attended this Thursday, January 19, the gastronomic demonstration conducted by the students of the Cooking and Restoration Courses and organized by the Agency for Local Development and Employment (ADLE) .
Thus, at 8:00 p.m., on the ground floor of the Milagrosa Building, Castejón was accompanied by the director of the ADLE, Manuel Mora, and entrepreneurs in the hotel sector of Cartagena, who enjoyed the elaborate dishes prepared by the students Of these two courses, among which a roasted suckling pig, prawns and lobster, as well as salmon and quail with different garnishes.
During the demonstration, the deputy mayor recalled that the classes of the Occupational Training Courses of Cuisine and Restoration, which are free, are co-financed by the European Social Fund and are aimed at unemployed "in order to acquire skills in these professional fields and favor Thus their insertion labor ".
In addition, all courses have a module of 80 hours of non-work professional practices to perform in companies related to each specialty.
