The UPCT's Scientific and Innovation Culture Unit (UCC + i) resumes this quarter its dissemination tour through the libraries of the different districts and councils of Cartagena within the Cartagena Piensa municipal program, whose new programming Has been presented today.
The teams and associations of students of the Polytechnic that manufacture racing vehicles, solar cars, submarines and robotic devices, and research groups from different centers of the University explain to minors interested in science and technology some of their species conservation projects , Hydrology, or engineering.
Last quarter, around 600 children attended the thirty lectures given by the UPCT in the municipal libraries.
The novelty of this new edition is the collaboration with the neighborhood associations of Galifa, Sector Station, San Felix and El Algar.
"The success of the program during the last quarter is due to the fruitful collaboration between all the institutions and the great coordination work carried out by José Luis Serrano in UCC + i and Carmen Rodal and all the staff in the Network of Municipal Libraries, Thanked during his speech the Vice Rector of Research, Beatriz Miguel.
The programming of Cartagena Piensa also includes lectures to be held at the Polytechnic, such as the seminar on Citizen Participation and collective research that will be held on 10 and 11 March, the group of the Universitat de Barcelona OpenSystems, which coordinates the Office of Citizen Science of The city of Barcelona.
The talks begin this week, with a conference on the method of pedagogical innovation of reverse class put into practice by teachers of the Faculty of Enterprise Sciences of the Polytechnic.
The talk will be given this Wednesday 18 at 19 hours by María Eugenia Sánchez, Educational Innovation Coordinator at the UPCT.
Another professor at the Polytechnic, Juan Pablo Fernández, will be the speaker of a talk about the Mar Menor and the opportunities for the decrease, on Wednesday, February 8.
Both sessions will be held in the hall of degrees of the School of Agronomists.
The UPCT will also collaborate, through Spanish classes, in another of the lines of Cartagena. Think about this cycle the Refugee cycle 'Telling the escape, thinking the welcome and building the hospitality', promoted by the Refugium Plan of the University Of Murcia.
