The Department of Education of the City of Cartagena has authorized a study room in the Social Center of El Algar, in the room next to the Pensioner's Home, which will have a score of seats for which new furniture has been purchased and visited The Councilor for Education, David Martinez;
Together with the Councilor for Decentralization, Juan Pedro Torralba, and the President of the Neighborhood Board.
Thus, the Department that runs Martinez has acquired new furniture to fine-tune this study room to be made available to students in the locality, so they can prepare their exams and work.
And, as Martinez has assured, "the tables and chairs that were in the Social Center did not meet the necessary conditions for this new space."
In addition, he stressed, "we have adapted the door so that students can access with some cards that we will facilitate."
The objective of the Department is that this new Study Room can be opened later this month, announced the mayor, who said that "it is planned that the furniture will arrive next week and, as soon as everything is set, we will open the public ".
The investment made by the Department of Education for the launch of this space is around 3,000 euros.
The Classroom schedule will be subordinated to the Social Center at first, although the possibility of opening a new access from the outside is not ruled out to fit the real needs of the students
