The application deadline for the Conecta-Barrios program, from the Local Development and Employment Agency (ADLE), to participate in the selection process for the preparation of the compulsory secondary education test (ESO) is still open and all People interested in registering can do so until January 27.
The preparatory classes to obtain the title will begin on January 16 in Santa Lucia and will end in June 2017, the official date on which the test for the ESO degree is taken.
The selected students will receive three days of class per week, from 9:30 am to 1:30 p.m.
Ana Belén Castejón, Vice Mayor and President of the ADLE, stressed the importance of these courses, "since they help many neighbors to improve their training and to opt for new workshops and training cycles that they can not currently access because they do not have the Title of ESO.
The better the training, the greater the chances of accessing a job ".
With this program the Local Development and Employment Agency intends to support the people of Lo Campano, Los Mateos, Saint Lucia or Barriada Santiago who have not obtained the ESO title.
