The Local Police and Firemen of Cartagena have prepared a special device for the cavalcade of kings in which will reinforce with 70 agents the police service for that day and police vehicles and heavy trucks will be located in different strategic places to ensure the safety of the event .
The Councilor for the Public Safety and Public Health Area, Francisco Aznar, has sent a message of tranquility to citizens, given the current state of alert, and has reported that the Emergency Plan has been prepared by the police headquarters and the Firefighters, and that therefore "everything is in conditions so that it passes with total normality".
In addition to the 70 agents, the device includes a truck with four firefighters and another 10 personnel that will control the route to which will be added 16 Civil Protection volunteers.
In addition, the 13 floats will be escorted by 2 people from the municipal brigades to ensure the safety of the children.
The Local Police remembers that the parking of vehicles will be prohibited from 14:00 hours on the streets affected by the parade route: Alameda de San Antón, Plaza de España, Paseo Alfonso XIII, Calle Juan Fernández Plaza Juan XXIII, Calle Santa Florentina, Carmen Street, Tolosa Latour Street, Sagasta Street, Murcia Gate, Main Street and Town Hall Square.
Also from 17 hours the traffic will be cut in all the streets through which the parade runs.
The authorities recommend the use of public parking and public transport in case of travel to the center.

After the parade, the agents will pay special attention to avoid the bottle in the Plaza de las Tres Culturas, the surroundings of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, the Roman Theater and the Windmill Park.
