The local Government Board has approved this morning the offer of public employment this year proposed by Councilor for Security and Interior, Francisco Aznar, and includes 26 newly created vacancies that respond to the rate of replacement and 47 of internal promotion .
"This gives the temporary staff the option to become permanent, to select new personnel waiting in the street to be part of the Administration, and to which already forms part of it we give the opportunity to promote itself, thus favoring the Administrative career, "explained the mayor.
The Government team is committed to reorder the situation of public employees of the City of Cartagena and this work will not end with this offer, but do consider that this is an important advance, which responds to the current expectations of staff, Trade union representatives and citizens.
Of the 26 new vacancies, there is a place of lawyer, one of prosecutor, two of tax inspectors, one of technical assistant of Archive and Libraries, a web designer, a computer auxiliary and 19 agents of the Local Police.
In terms of internal promotion, 13 administrative technicians, 1 local police officer, 3 local police sergeants, 5 local police officers, 1 fire sergeant, 3 firemen, 2 technicians of management and business administration, 2 Inspectors of services, 2 programmers, 2 tax inspectors, 4 technical librarians, 2 maintenance officers, 1 electrical teacher, 2 masonry officers, 1 garden teacher, 1 brigade manager and 2 educators.
