Memory of Cartagena is a new portal that offers through the web the history of the city, both known and not so well known chapters, through news, articles, stories or videos, oriented not only to lovers of history, but to Citizens and visitors who want to know more about the Cartagena triennial.
The councilman of Archaeological Heritage, Ricardo Segado, presented this morning the new website of Cartagena history, along with one of the creators, Raúl Palacios, and web designer, Iván Campillo.
Www.memoriadecartagena.es is a complete web and for all audiences, novel and necessary, of diffusion and knowledge of the different eras of Cartagena, its histories and its legends, counted from the own citizenship, as indicated the mayor of patrimony .
According to its creator, Raúl Palacios, the web was born of the problem when contemplating the history of Cartagena, being realized through concrete times and not in a global way, so the goal was to cover history with new methods and To make known other times more unknown among citizens.
The sections of this website are news, with the city's heritage, an audiovisual section with short films and documentaries, and a section of articles, open to collaborators and a history section, which shows all stages from the city.
But Memoria de Cartagena not only remains in the network: they will also carry out historical routes or recreations, conferences or talks in a cafe by a historian to break the barriers of time and talk about the history of the city.
The page, which is available from Sunday, December 18, is also focused on its section of articles for students of history to have their first contact to write about history, and already has Cartagena collaborators such as Daniel Perez and Lola Gutierrez.
Memory of Cartagena is available on social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram with the user memoriadecartagena and Youtube.
