The Council of Quality of Life, Health, Consumption and Environment of the City of Cartagena has scheduled a Free Day of Consumer Information to raise awareness about the most conflicting issues about the insurance sector and how to deal with the problems faced by insurance companies.
According to the data collected in the Report of the Consumers and Users Council of 2015, more than 65 thousand queries related to the insurance sector were attended.
According to this report, this sector is in the sixth place of those who create more requests for information or complaints from consumers, with 5.25% of the total (the ranking is led by the financial services sector with 27% of the Total volume of complaints).
For this reason, one of the objectives of consumer information and training campaigns from the City of Cartagena is to sensitize consumers on the most conflicting issues that are often recurring in the insurance sector, within the most common branches among consumers (Death, health, automobiles, home, life) and especially how to deal with the problems faced by insurance companies.
The inauguration of the day will take place next Wednesday, December 21, in the Auditorium of the Roman Theater by the councilman of the Area of ​​Quality of Life, Francisco Calderón.
It will take place from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm and is aimed at neighborhood associations, women's associations, senior centers and consumers in general who want to know more about this sector
