The Cartagena team of aesthetic gymnastics group successfully closed a weekend after the first phase of the Spanish Cup 2016-2017 of this specialty, where they obtained the first position in four of the five categories that were disputed.
The Pavilion Wssell de Guimbarda hosted on Saturday 17 the preliminary competition of the different categories and Sunday 18 the end of this first phase, adding more than 500 gymnasts from 40 teams from different points in the Spanish geography.
In the overall classification, the Club Rítmica Cartagena was able to rise with the first position in the categories Infantil of 8-10 years and the categories Junior and Senior.
The Gymnastics Club San Antón de Cartagena also got a first place in the category of children from 12 to 14 years.
This fierce classification has resulted in the classification of the Club Rítmica Cartagena to represent in junior and senior categories to Spain in the World Cup, to be held in Tartu (Estonia) next February, children's teams, junior and senior from Cartagena.
