The Board of Directors of the University of Polytechnic of Cartagena (UPCT) has decided to suspend the academic activity on Monday, December 19, in the wake of the alert situation in the Region and the forecast of continued torrential rains during the next few hours.
At the moment, the Rectoral Team is considering exempting Teaching and Research Staff (PDI) and Administration and Services Personnel (PAS) from the obligation to come tomorrow to their posts in view of the risks derived from the traffic.
The rector of the UPCT, Alejandro Diaz, has recommended extreme precautions in traveling.
